let a beast jump out of a hoop?
hello,
as a tribute to the German national soccer team (but indeed just for fun and learning even a bit more about Xara), I would like to let a colored beast jump out of a (soccer-like) hoop.
I have cut the hoop, and brought the one part to the back. It was the only way I could imagine to let the beast jump out of the hoop.
But now my problem is, that the dissected pieces each has a visible black edge (remarked with the red arrows).
is there any way to prevent such edge?
or now, after cutting it, to delete it or make it invisible?
thanks for help
Holger

I wouldn't have sliced the doughnut the way you did. But now that you have, the easiest and quickest way to hide the cuts is to cover them with a couple of blanks, as shown

I would not have given line thickness to any internal line till you had placed the wolf in or at the end. Other way is to slice the wolf see the file

Okay, I see - thank you very much! Covering is really a good idea.
But could you please tell me, what kind of method you would use for bringing the "doughnut" partly behind the beast?
I now experiment with another kind of hoop and cutting it makes now very ugly edges - so I really would like to learn another way.
I have attached the new file again.

Oh, simultaneously posting. Thank you Albacore.
slicing the wolf is an idea I never had... I will do it now. thanks!
Re: let a beast jump out of a hoop?
Yep, Albacore, that's how I'd have sliced the beast too

Yes, right you are - slicing the beast was the best thing.
Now I can work on. Thank you very much again!
