reapeating objects co-ordinates

i have some links and icons links at the foot of the index page to pages on the same website . i want them to appear on all my pages when 'repeat on all pages is attributed' what is the reference point is it pasted at? x pixels from the top or bottom as different pages are different lengths

just above these objects is a page divide and forward and back arrows does xara use these as a reference point?

I think either from the top of the page or the bottom of the page. You pretty much have answered your own question.
