Yes -- surely
i have a lot of whish list for coreldraw
But are we talking a bout a whish list that will never
reach the Corel pepole ???????????
i had an old whis list that i posted
but saddly most of it were not met
anyway -- The most whish list that i want to see
in the comming corelDraw suite "12"
is to buy XaraX again -- and combine the cool
feature that found in XaraX to Draw ...ex. Bevel and more
i truley think that if corel has those features that are found in XaraX
it will bw a killer App to beat
in future i will post some new features for Draw
i had Illustrator 10 and Canvas 9 and freehand Mx
xaraX and CorelDraw 5 - 11
soon i will post one of the coolest features that can be found in appz other than CorelDraw
==========

Thanks AjIsCoool,
yes, in Xara X, there’s some cool features.
The Feathering Slide is great,
Also the Interactive Bevel Tool,
and the Round Corners for the Shape Tool.
In Canvas 9, the Object Path Editor is useful.
In CorelDesigner10,
the Gravity Snap, Boundary Tool,
Virtual Segment Delete Tool and
Reflective Nodes are Absolutely Great!

I just spent a few hours reading my CorelDraw 11 manual and playing with CD 11 and it definitely needs some TLC!!
Yes, an interactive bevel tool is much needed and a feathering tool and how about, while we are at it, a lighting tool, bump maps and improvements on the shadow tool.
I was really trying hard to use this software today and I just have been SO spoiled with XaraX and RealDraw-Pro that I just felt like I was going backwards with missing some of the familar tools that these two wonderful apps supply.
I would also add some more Lens effects, they are quite limited as well.
Speed is another issue I noticed, I created a "contour" 3D ball and threw a drop shadow on it and boy it was almost as bad as DrawPlus 7 (Serif). Another area I'm very much spoiled with is XaraX's speed and RD-Pro is right behind it with that as well.
I was kinda curious about the new Canvas but then again I really don't need another vector app!! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
It was a fun learning experience but I will go back to just using PhotoPaint 11 and there Draw and Rave 2 sit. I also tried out Rave 2, it's like a glorified Draw with a movie making module plugged in to it!! Not sure why Corel needs to justify all the extra space for basically Draw 2 times!! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/confused.gif
I'm not a Corel basher by the way. I would like to see this program make good and maybe it will by version 12 now that the Vector Capital Completes Corel Purchase!!.
Maybe they are already tearing down old code and rebuilding and improving things. That would be wonderful for the entire industry. Corel is a corner stone, so this is good, I think!! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Corel 12...
It might be in 11, but I have not found it, but a tool that you could grab ahold of a section of your drawing and warp it. kind of like an interactive envelope tool and smudge brush in one. Where the Smudge brush seems to make a sharp angle this would gently warp your graphic where you place it... if that makes sence.
I would also like to see an offset tool, Similar to the interactive contour tool, but a tool that I could chose a line, circle, object, group and create an offset of exactly a specified distance, I use it allot in Autocad, and I think it would be handy in CD 12.
NOt to be smart, but how about a nice stable platform where I do not need to worry about losing information.

There is really just one thing that they truly need to correct (redo completely from the ground up or whatever) something that only keeps DRAW in the enthusiastic circles: correct EPS export. That's one and formost problem with CorelDRAW, after all that's where vector graphics is supposed to go and with Corel it won't do. Had they have it corrected I'd vote to number that version 20 instead of 12 but it make take an eternity for those folks to realize their major failure - to deliver an app that would do it straight with serious graphics. Blah..blah..blag.. I know that won't happen.
Yes, it's me.

I happened to think of a few other goodies I would like to see in CD12
Fillet/Round/Champher
AND What I think could be REALLY cool is an X-RAY lens, where you could make several objects over top of each other and with the lens you could look through a layer, or several layers...

Having updated from PerfectDraw to CorelDraw 8, I didn't think there was anything more to wish. But then came CorelDraw 9, 10, 11.
I got used to all the little extra programms, that Wordperfect also used to add. In version 11 I really was pleased with the added RAVE. But I missed the separate texture designer of version 10. For version 12 I would like those little extra's back.
I really would like all Xara capabillity. The different Xara software, including the button and navigation design, has good features. But the company, it's a horror. So PLEASE, PLEASE, buy XARA back, Corel. Webstyle, X, 3D, they should be re-edited to be worthy of the Corel label, and added to the Corel Graphics suite.
What I also miss, is a new version of good old Corel Webdesigner. It is difficult to install on a new computer, but I cannot miss it. I would like new features, but the software has an incredible learning capabillity. The more features you add to yor websites, the more menu's and features Corel Webdesigner 2 offers. That probably is the Sun Java its working with. An updated version of this program disserves to be included in the next Corel Graphics Suite.

I'm relatively new to this vector graphics thing, but after spending some time in the Xara forums, I realized that Corel Draw is way behind Xara. Draw is very strong here is Taiwan. I thought it was one of the leaders, that's why I bought it. Now it seems to be hard-pressed just keeping up. My wish is that Corel Draw programmers buy and use Xara, then they'd know how far they have fallen behind. I wish I bought Xara instead.
