Photo-realism in Xara - help me out!
A couple of years a go I tried to establish just jow photorealistic I could make a drawing in Xara. I picked a cricket ball as my subject and was very nearly able to complete the picture, but I failed when it came to drawing the seam.
Can anyone go the extra mile and finish the drawing?
In the attached PNG you can see my attempt on the left and the reference photo on the right. I've included the .xar for you to have a go at.

Hello Michael,
Try this. I used a brush. It could be done better by hand drawing each stitch in the seam but it would take a long time.

Here's a suggestion.
With a little extra work it may be a solution.

Try using the chain brush with pen tool about 4pt and 2 percent feather (use 3 lines). Taking more care than I did not feeling too well today after overeating yesterday at a party.

Look like a brush may be the way forward. I'll give it a go soon. Thanks for the suggestions guys!

Or four brushes, if you want to replicate the original more closely.
