BQ, have you tried this link and submitted your JPG image?

It throws up some close matches when I tried it, but not sure how precise you need it to be (i.e. does it have to be an exact match).
It could be Diamanti Diagonal EF Heavy. It is not a free font though.

Yes, I did try What The Font and yes I do need an exact match. Was hoping it would be a free font because I only need it once. Thanks for trying.
Are you doing just a word or two as in a logo? If that's the case you could easily trace this with the Shape Tool, which would give you an exact match.
BQ, this looks very like it - its free. Worth a try to see what the italic version looks like.

DOAADI,
That looks pretty close. I'll give it a try. Thanks for researching it and responding to my post.
WIZARD,
I love your slogan "Due to current economic conditions the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off."
I used the same font on a logo i made a few weeks back. If im not mistaken the font is Lunch Time Normal another similar one is Jhiaxus Oblique. Hope this helps.
This is a small sample of the font that's needed, but the captial "C" is quite characteristic of Bitstreams' Compacta family.
I used Compacta Black in this screen capture, and then skewed it by 28 degrees (in Xara) to the right to make an oblique version (which is often what an italic family member truly is).

It's not an expensive typeface, and it's not hard to do this with Xara.
My Best,
