Custom Placeholder Problem
Hi there -
This used to to work and suddenly just doesn't.
I created my own 'add to cart' placeholder image that I want to show with my products. Previously I always just added the Paypal code to the Placeholder/Replace with HTML Code (body).
Once I published, the image would look the same, but if clicked, would act just like any other 'add to cart button'.
Now when I do the same thing, it creates Paypal's orange 'add to cart' button and I don't want that.
I've not done anything different - could an update have changed this? If not, can anyone help, please! Did try to work through and search but still puzzled...
Thank you!
Sandy
Re: Custom Placeholder Problem
Sandy, if you've used the Add to Cart widget it only allows for a limited number of PayPal button images.
I would need to see the source code of a sample page with your image before I could work out what has changed.
Did you previously use the Customise button option where you include your own button image?
Its possible that if you've not Named this image or not included it in your website upload then PayPal has reverted to its default.
I think you've omitted this step.

The purple bold bit should be your image...
