Disable "Edit Inside" feature
I recently upgraded from Designer Pro 6 to Designer Pro X10. A feature in X10 is "Edit Inside", whereas when I click on a group, it opens the group in a new window. I very much dislike this feature. Is there anyway to disable this feature, so I can go back to editing a group on the same page vs. a new page? Thanks in advance for any help.

This only happens for me if I double click a group. Single clicking just selects the group. I can then Ctrl + Click to select a shape within the group. Are you saying single clicking opens the "Edit Inside" feature?

Re: Disable "Edit Inside" feature
First thing I did was disable double-click and end up in another window thing.
Get Steve's wonderful XaReg.

Re: Disable "Edit Inside" feature
if you prefer the direct approach key is:
....Options\Editinside\DisableDefaultDoubleClick set this to 1 to disable 0 to enable the edit inside
Re: Disable "Edit Inside" feature
Wow, thanks for the great answers!!! I learned something new...I had no idea I could CTRL-Click to edit a group component (thanks Egg Bramhill)!! Also, had no idea I could use Regedit to change Xara settings (thanks mwenz and handrawn)! Seriously impressed with all of you!!

If you didn't know you could use REGEDIT to change Xara settings then I'd seriously suggest not doing .... XaReg is MUCH safer.
