I ilke Xara Designer, but I realy don't like Xara default cursors, they are huge and comfortless. Those little hints (bottom-left) just annoying. So, who know how to change them?
Any lite and extreme methods acceptable.

if you mean the selection bounds handles then in selector tool toggle the button on the far left of the infobar 'show selection bounds handles'
as for the hints - you can untick 'status bar' [Window \ Bars menu ]
