Frames inside a web page?
Sorry for the multiple questions, kinda getting on a roll here.... :o I found a thread from January that would've answered this, but was never answered. Apologies if it's been asked before.
Is it possible to create frames inside a web page? A simple and "local" example would be one of Xara's pages: http://www.xara.com/us/products/webdesigner/features/ .....except it wouldn't be Flash of course. In other words, having the top header/navbar/etc. remain put, while tabs in the main section refresh only that part of the page with each tab's content. If that makes sense. :)
Thanks!!
EDIT -- I forgot to mention, I did play around a bit with adding layers, ie. pressing each tab brings up a "popup" layer, replacing the main part. It works, but of course it's *poof* once you click outside...not quite ideal.
Re: Frames inside a web page?
Xara software does not do 'framesets' - because Web Designer and Xtreme are not HTML editors :)
But.......... Please see this thread:

Post #4 has an example file you can view.
Re: Frames inside a web page?
Ahh, I searched, but I guess not far enough. :o
Thanks a bunch for the example! I never really noticed (or used) the "Open link in..." dropdown. I will definitely try that and see if I can get something good. Though it looks like it will take a little work and rearranging.
