Themes from WS4
Will it be possible in furture versions of XWD to import or use templates/themes from WS4? I bought the extra themes for WS4 but find I can not use them with XWD and that's a pitty cause the themes with WS4 are pretty good and save me a lot of time.
I do like XWD but I still prefer working with WS4.
Cheers,

Re: Themes from WS4
Hi Bill,
Direct use of a Webstyle template isn't possible; however, it is possible to use the graphics.
Is there a particular element you would like to use? I can work up a mini-tutorial explaining how to incorporate it into Web Designer.

Hi Bill,
I would be interested in such a tutorial, and perhaps others would too if it's possible for you.

Hi Ed,
I'll work something up in a few days when I have my next day off from work. I work Thursday evening through Monday evening.

Re: Themes from WS4
For anyone that is interested, I put together a tutorial on using a Webstyle4 theme (the same menu/navbar theme is in Menu Maker).
The colours used in the tutorial and the horizontal navbar are all from Webstyle4.

Re: Themes from WS4
Hi Bill,
Followed the first part of your tutorial and have hit a snag. I'm wondering if you could have a quick look at the file and see what I'm doing wrong. I have spent quite a few hours trying to solve the problem of mouseover and maybe am just not seeing it because of too much familiarity with the file.
The problem is when I click the eye (layer gallery) for mouseover on and off, the bar does what it should. In preview it doesn't work, I only see the mouseoff layer (which I would expect) but mouseover that area does not show the mouseover layer.....I'm probably missing something really simple....maybe a senior moment or two.
Thanks very much if you can help and thanks anyway...I still like the tutorial, just probably not quite following instructions correctly maybe.

Re: Themes from WS4
Hi Ed,
You need to assign links to the individual cannister objects before the mouse over effect will work.
I have assigned a dummy link to the 'buttons' so the mouse over works in preview.
