For keighley
Yet one more in the tinting series. Green and black theme this time, again tried to keep it clean and simple with just the right amount of information needed without going over the top.

Thanks Frances, what's the loading speed like for you.

Re: For keighley
It loads quite fast for me on my PC and my windows 7 phone.

Re: For keighley
Was this site done using Xara?
The reason for my question is because of the full size banner at the top.

Re: For keighley
Yes Rik, all xara, using the tall thin bar method, the ray burst is on the page itself rather than the background.

Re: For keighley
@Rik - I don't know whether Skech used this, but all you need is Covoxer's Tweakset :-
1 A suitable tiling image for the page background
2 The ‘Tile background horizontally’ tweak
3 The ‘Static Background’ tweak

Re: For keighley
Yes Skech did use Xara to create this site (and all of his window tinting sites) If you right click on the background of a webpage you should (I believe this works in most browsers) get a menu and in that menu there should be an option to view the page source code. all pages made in Xara will show "Xar files" in the meta name and show that Xara was used as a generator. As the moderator for the Xara web gallery I check this information for all new sites that are posted, before I approve them :)

Re: For keighley
I did look at the page source, Frances.
But I was puzzled by the full width banner at the top of the site.
I think John has answered as to how that can be done.
I'll have to look at the soon!
Great looking site, Skech.
I don't know what you mean by 'the tall thin bar method' ?

Re: For keighley
I do not use the tweak, basically I create the page using the method below.
- Create the page with all the elements which you want; the footer, the green banner and the rest of the stuff which goes off the page, tweak the positions
- then resize this to say 16pixels (keep the length to what you set for the page (make sure you have whole numbers of pixels, nothing like 15.9pixels)
- and then export it as a png
- then import it into the page
- delete it
- and then select it from the bitmap gallery and select 'Background' and that's it
The 'bar' for this site is http://www.windowtintingkeighley.co....tm_files/0.png
Hope that helps.
