Sprite Crafting in Photoshop *Problem*
When making sprites, one important thing is to mantain the image as clear as possible.
I made a sprite of a man standing still, then split the parts into different layers (torso, arms, legs, etc). When I rotated the parts to make it look like a "running frame" of a sprite, the Photoshop automatically blurred the image. The blurring helps on larger images, but it screws with small stuff like this:

So, how do I rotate a layer without blurring it?
Thanks in advance!
Re: Sprite Crafting in Photoshop *Problem*
Hi gust,
It's the nature of the beast when working with raster images.
Two possible solutions to consider: On the resulting aliased transformation,
1. Apply levels and greatly increase contrast.
2. Apply threshold.
However, your best bet will be to create this with vectors, which will eliminate the aliasing problem from the get-go.
Re: Sprite Crafting in Photoshop *Problem*
You can just create the sprite in Black and White mode where there is no variationns of grey. Once you have done the sprites you can return to another colour mode to input colours you wish to use if Black and White is not what you want.
