i made a css welcome splash page. it looks a little different on different browsers, but i think it's acceptable. i like how it looks on the IE. i'm thinking of enhancing it further with some small graphics.

I don't see any CSS in that page. You don't even have a DOCTYPE.
But maybe I'm looking at an old page.
