MM 1.1 won't run after upgrading

I upgraded to 1.1. Windows kept crashing with any MM click. I completely uninstalled everything to do with MM. Reinstalled clean. Still, if I try to load a project, click New, or anything, MM crashes Windows XP. Any ideas?
