Re: Text between two curves
since I post I found the way to do it by using the mold tool.
1.write text
2.select mold tool in left tool bar
3.choose a form in top toolbar and move vertex as needed.
Re: Text between two curves
So nice when members answer their own questions. ;)
Thanks for posting the solution.
Can you post an image with the results of the envelope?

Re: Text between two curves
In the future, because (in any program I am aware of) text will only follow a single curve, make a single curve of your two curves.
In the example screen shot, two ovals were combined (Add Shapes or CTRL+1) and the lower nodes deleted to leave the line you see. In other words, a node was selected, right-click, break at node and then a few nodes were deleted. However, using the line tool this line with a couple curves could have simply been drawn.
Then the text was applied to the line. I left the line visible so one could see it. Oh, I also used the baseline shift to move the text higher than the line...and I had to add a few spaces in the line of text to move the word "that" out of the tight angle where the two curves were joined.
Take care, Mike

Re: Text between two curves
Here an example of the text between two lines. Finally it is not between two lines but inside a shape created by the mold tool.
By actionning the vertex or tangent lins you can obtain the shape you want.
