Because clouds tend to go, "Poof..." ;))
Gary, Rob-Xar/EvaK suggested an account check was around once a month.
Matt365 advised it happens then the application crashes.
I bet it happens after an update too.
All of those above would not force a daily check.

Raise it through the Intercomm chat on the web page or in Xara Cloud.
