I think I needed to use at least seven programs to create this, and the first and last one in the process was Xara Designer.
It's a non-partisan call to celebration. It's about freedom, not politics.

Love the Bell. Beautiful.
Thank you, Rik.
Trivia: The bell model I used was scanned from the current one on display in Philadelphia.
There is an initiative similar to The Gutenberg Project—except things rather than books are scanned—called Scan the World. The results are posted online free for download, modifying, printing...so the Liberty Bell is a little more original in my animation than one would believe! :)
Thank the Fates that the Notre Dame Cathedral was sampled quite a number of times in the past for posterity.
Here's an xRay view of one of the better samples.

Freakin' cool or what? :)

Incidentally, Philadelphia is the only place I've been to in the US. And that was when I was in the Navy.
It might have changed a little since you visited there in the Navy! :) More tattoo parlours, for starters.
But it remains the City of Brotherly Love, Rocky still runs up and down the stairs and E.J.'[s song about Philadelphia Freedom still applies.
P.S. On the Liberty Bell, Pennsylvania is misspelled “Pensylvania.” This spelling was one of several acceptable spellings of the name at that time.
William Pen :) might have been a little pout out, nevertheless!
Happy 4th of July America!
I love this. and I love how you put these videos together Gare. I have no idea how to do something like that. I tried once but the result was very shall we say shallow. The only thing I can cay for the one I did was it was done completely with XP&GD but what version I don't remember. Anyway great work Gare.
I'll second that ... Excellent work Gary.
