XaraLX Video Tute
AS stated in a previous conversation. I said, "I would start making some video tutorials" on using XaraLX. So I've taken the tutorial from Xarazone of putting text around circle and made a video tutorial of it.
The tutorial is here:

Re: XaraLX Video Tute
Thanks for another fine video Dai.
May I ask how you are recording your videos?
A google search returns mostly references to using VNC and recording on a Windows machine controlling the Linux box.

Re: XaraLX Video Tute
For these recordings I'm using a program called recordmydesktop in ubuntu 7.10
for the hosting I use blip.tv and showmedo.com and host the output from blip.tv on my blog http://dai-videotutes.blogspot.com/
The other system I use is for windows and there are two of them Camstudio and camtasia. Camstudio is opensource and you can get a free version of camtasia from here:
http://pctutorials.at3host.com/camtasia.html
just follow the instructions
If you are going to use windows to record tutes go for camtasia it's a much better programme.

Re: XaraLX Video Tute
Thanks Dai.
I use Camtasia for recording Windows and was wanting a similar application for Linux. I'll try recordmydesktop for Linux. Thanks for the link.
