Bug: Animated Gif Crash on Export
Hi,
I've got an animation that I can only export as flash as it crashes Xtreme when exporting as a gif. Granted, it's large at 720 x 480, but I would think that Xtreme should be able to do it.
I get access violation exception at offset 0x0043A30C.
Thanks,
Re: Bug: Animated Gif Crash on Export
I can confirm the access violation message when trying to preview and/or export as animated gif.
Re: Bug: Animated Gif Crash on Export
no problem here [xxp4]
sorry its too big to upload as animated gif at original size - I'll try resizing it
Re: Bug: Animated Gif Crash on Export
Access violation exception at offset 0x0043A30C for me also.
Which OS are you using Steve / Sheff?
I know Bill uses Vista as do I.
Plenty of RAM here also.
Re: Bug: Animated Gif Crash on Export
OS - XP home SP3
intel core2 duo
nvidea 7200 graphics
ASUS M/B 2GB DDR2 RAM
the animation resized ok too .....

Re: Bug: Animated Gif Crash on Export
Interesting you can succeed where three versions of Xtreme fail.
Even with a slightly more powerful machine.
I'll boot to XP and try next.
Re: Bug: Animated Gif Crash on Export
interestingly I get the offset error with xtreme 2 but not with xtreme pro 4
the uploaded exported animation that worked has been removed I see - apologies if this was out of order, but as the xar had been uploaded, I thought that would be ok

Re: Bug: Animated Gif Crash on Export
OK the results in Windows XPPro are the same.
For the heck of I tried with Windows 7 on the dual-core laptop as well.
Ditto - crash'a'roony :(

Re: Bug: Animated Gif Crash on Export
ok - I rechecked just to make sure and it still works okay with xxp4 - takes a count of about 5 to work, but no error
still no joy on xtreme 2

Re: Bug: Animated Gif Crash on Export
Curious.
The 'preview' (when ticked) doesn't show in any OS or Xtreme version for me.
