30% discount for beta testers... :D
I was looking at their latest offer of 20% for the photo one. How has been your experience compared to that of photoshop?
I think it's also $39US. Can't beat the price. If I weren't such an old dog (learning new tricks, etc.) I'd give it a try.
it has not replaced my CS2 photoshop - but as much as anything that is because I can more or less do everything I need to 'blindfold' in CS2 I am so used to it, and crucially it has scanner interface which affinity does not
that said affinity photo meshwarp and liquid persona [distortion] are my main reasons for having that program, but you may not need such things
yes rik - what I am saying is that those who were beta testers will now get 30% off the 'proper' version as opposed to 20 % for those who were not
you might get an email to that effect [I did], but it probably depends on how far down the beta route you went
I'm hoping with all the time it's been on Beta most of the issues will have been sorted out.
I think there are free updates until version 2.
I'm buying it to replace my ancient Adobe Pagemaker (yes, I still use it).
I think it's worth the money...
I'm also going to pre-order with the 30% discount.
I was waiting to 'upgrade' my copy of Xara Photo & Graphic Designer, but that meant paying about 75% of the cost of a new copy which seemed a bit much in comparison. I didn't want the bundled software and can live without access to the online content catalogue.
