Which type of computer do you use for work?

If you define 'work' as my current employment, then none of the above.

If you define 'work' as helping answer questions here at TG and maintaining XaReg, then I use both Desktop and Laptop.

I only use one computer, an old Sony Vaio laptop.

My next computer will be another laptop.

Desktop at work, would have to pay way to much to get a laptop to the same spec. use laptop away from the office.

I use a custom built PC (I do all of my own PC builds,) with two 24'' monitors as my main rig. I also have a 64bit PC with an iCore7 Quad and a 22'' monitor for animation, motion graphics, and video editing. When I'm mobile, I use the HP Pavilion dv7 laptop with the Bamboo Pen and Touch. The other setups use the Wacom Intuos3 PTZ-631W tablets (gotta have that control.)

I use both a desktop and a lap top as well.

We have laptops, but only the PhD's get to use them when they go out to the field.
