Default Seamless tiles with dingbat fonts in Xtreme

Attached is a mini tutorial on how to create seamless tiles with dingbat fonts in Xtreme. There are many dingbat design fonts out there on the Interweb.
If you search "dingbat design fonts" in google you'll get plenty of links to lots of free ones. This link is a good place to start. It features details of all Xara software too. Does this site belong to anyone we know?
I have attached the .xar file if you find the tutorial uploaded here is too small to read. I have my new spectacles today, so everything looks tickety-boo to me.
I'm sure we would all be interested to see what you can make.
    Saludos,
    Bob.

Nice tutorial, iamtheblues. I like the pattern in your example. Also, thanks for the dingbat font link.

Neat idea Bob. Here is a tile I made with a free dingbat font. The font is called symmetry and can be found on Da font.com

Very nice Bob. here is another one with the symmetry font character "a" I used a circular fill with a rainbow setting.

    It made a lovely curtain.

    Thanks for the comments, people.
    Here's a design made from AGA Arabesque.ttf, upper case “K” and “L”
(plus ”&” for the central part). I had to break the shapes after converting to editable shapes and ungrouping twice for the centre.
The star shape was cloned and reduced to 80% to achieve the effect.
The image on the right is the bitmap fill with a light blue contone applied. This makes it even more versa-tile:
    Saludos,
    Bob.
