Primarily I get computing news by email newsletters from non-traditional news websites. TechRepublic, Linux Today, myITforum, The Code Project, etc.
The Off-Topic forum here at Talkgraphics has also provided some "late breaking" computing news.

Plus the ones mentioned in the earlier posts...
