Great drawing Miro. Where can I find a blue laser optical mouse?

    Hi Miro,

The only laser mouses I have seen all use red lasers. A blue one would fit in with my new computer and it's blue back light buttons.

isn't a blue laser a little too hot still? Haven't kept up on these things in the last couple o years...

Actually the optical mouse uses an LED as the light source. It may be the sensor is most sensitive to the red light than any other colour.

At 18 MIPS (million instructions per second) it needs to be very responsive to the light source.
