Time does fly and a new month is upon me before I realise
As I grow older the faster time flies.

To keep this "on topic" here is my most recent drawing. Made today for the 'Charles Noir' challenge

A picture of my vaca spot in Maine with an image fixed in using Xara LX for transparency. I call this "Lady of the Lake" Although I am quite upset she was not there when I was.....

Sorry Soquili, but I had to post this second rendition (hope it's o.k.) But I just added some solar glare to the pic using the Gimp. Which gives the effect that her image is being revealed by the setting sun..... I am curious, is it possible to get this "lens flare" effect using Xara LX??

A work in progress that I have put aside until
I get back the desire to finish it.
Anyone have any idea who this is?
Saludos,
Bob.

Hi Sven-Ingvar,
As they say in the USA, "Close, but no cigar".
I see the resemblance, but I think that The Hawk had a moustache.
It's sort-of-jazz, but not truly jazz, more of close relation, but definitely a different genre.
Saludos,
Bob.

Geminiguy the sun glare can be done using Xara Xtreme. I haven't used XaraLX for a long time and no longer have a Linux machine so I don't recall if it supports circular transparency and feathering.

The attachment shows a very quick rendition of sun glare using three circles with feathering and circular transparencies.

The original photo is in the lower left corner for comparison.
