My nephew asked me to do a cartoon picture of his mini.... something along the lines of the film cars. Here's what I came up with!

This is spot on, Derek. As you say very much in the style of the "Cars" movie,
yet still highly original. I like the way your backgrounds are done, too. It's difficult to know how much detail should go into them, but yours are just right, serving to showcase the subject rather than compete with it.
Wish I knew the secret.
Your style is instantly recognizable as your own.
