Excellent. I love looking at these 3D images. Where did you find all the gnomes?

My computer is in an upstairs bedroom at the front of the house.

To view these stereo-gram images I need to place my nose on the monitor and slowly move my head back, keeping a cross-eyed look.

Recently we've also had Hybrid Images were I need to go to the back of my room to view the monitor.

I hate to think what the neighbours across the road think of my strange viewing behaviour

Put it down to old age but until now after all these years of looking at Gary's excellent stereograms I never thought to print them, then look at them on paper and of course, lo and behold they can be viewed that way as well,

Ignominious Egg!

I contacted a website that had some great images on their site and asked permission to use the images for a stereogram. I am going to send the site's owner a digital print on archival paper for his letting me use the images.

I dropped out the backgrounds in Xara by drawing an outline around the shapes and then using Combine Shapes > Intersect Shapes. And a tiny spot of feathering.
