It seems many IE7 users are getting this message. A search on Google brought up many hits. The only "fixes" I have seen on the Internet are for the web developers to put into the HTML to allow their flash stuff to work in IE7. Maybe someone knows of a patch for IE7 - I couldn't find one. May have to uninstall IE7 and install a previous version.

    Thanks guys

Tallis the xara support page was helpful and adding the code & javascript worked.
Only problem is that the javascript DOES need to be added to every directory that has a flash file in it.
The support site says it only needs to be added once to the main one.

Haakoo thanks for the freeware link. I haven't tried the software yet but it
    looks pretty cool.

I think their instructions are flawed. If you modify the script line so that it reads src="/ieupdate.js" you only need one version of the file. Without the leading / on there, the web browser will look for the javascript file in whatever directory your page is being stored in.
This signature would be seven words long if it was six words shorter.

If anyone just watch my link,

    -download the freeware program,install
-create your html with your swf in a for you to remember folder.
    -open the program
    -browse to the folder(you remember)
    -click search documents
    -proces your html file,done

a new file is made in your folder called Flash.js

upload your html file, your SWF and this Flash.js file to your webspace, done

So no more copying and pasting of premade scripts of the net
and trying to place it at the right tagplace in your html file
this prog does it for you

    Thanks Odat

Never got around to thanking you, but you are right!
You need the leading / on there.
