make curved line
make second curved line
apply blendtool(F7)
Maybe after that, mehdi projection plugin(bidirectional) applied
Yes. Draw each strand individually. In this case, it is probably the only way. When you try it, you will realize that you have a 2-d projection of a 3-d pattern, and it is done in such a way that the blend tool will not replicate it (I believe). This is because the top, left line is not the leftmost line 2 inches down. It is hard to tell that, though.
Blendtool works just fine for these drawings

blendtool alone doesn't do the trick
but then ungrouping and adjusting the nodes might

Hi,
Well that sort of graphics looks like something created using maths.
I have played with generating graphics using HTML/DHTML and Javascript before - for instance I have created a Dash pattern generation "application".
I have used a couple of hours tonight - and have to go to sleep now :-) But let me show you an example of what my "HTML application" have created!

I will be back!
(I have also attached the generated .AI file)

"Everything has two sides"
I tried many times to trace a few of the lines in different configurations and then use the blend tool, but it never worked out for me....nothing lined up and it didn't ook right.
I tried to match the drawing but it still looks very different. It may be created with a different 2d program using a different blend algorithm. Anyone dare's to recreate the drawing in xara 1:1?
