Default Yule Have Some Holiday Cheer

Loved Bill Soquilli's fireplace, wanted to try just flames in flash to see what would happen. Not really easy to do. With flames, they crawl and spark and dance, as Raymond says, "Like a belly dancer". Fortunately eliptical transparency works.

Hope you enjoy. Finally have a computer to work from again. Haven't installed many programs yet. Of course, Xara was nearly the first. BTW, no filters were used in this, all Xara.

Merry Christmas to all, and to all Happy Animating!

That one took some planning I think.
Well done, Sally.
The red bitz going up the chimney are a nice touch.
Um .. what's in the box?

About time Intbel Studios took up this challenge ... been avoiding it here.

The box is just a reminder of how Gman popped out and splattered his brains everywhere.

Yes, welcome the challenge, any more fire, candles, bon fires, yule logs, whatever burns, baby, burns, find out how this flash thing works.

Glows, reflections, see what it can do and how to use the tools.

Have some fun and get out the marshmallows and chocolate, graham crackers and make S'mores.

Sorry, don't know what happened, my file is corrupted. Everything I did before and after that is okay. Not a clue as to why it went belly up.

This is a great Yule Card. The best part, however, is the picture on the mantel. Wherever did you find such a lovely model?

'Tis not a picture - 'tis a mirror.

Isn't it amazing what a Canon Rebel XT can do on a tripod with a remote? Who needs to pay a photographer, be your own. Total independence. For what I have saved with shelling out to a professional photographer, have bought the accessories to go with it. Lots of fun.

Same camera made the shots of my son with the horns through the head. It really hurt giving birth to that one!
