Val, everytime I see one of your masterpieces I am humbled and in awe. You are truly a master. Your vector drawings always look like (or better than) photographs!!! I can almost feel the wetness of the fish. [And I suppose you are a master chef too and this is one of your dishes!!!]

Incredible - simply incredible Dmitri.

When someone understands a subject (vector art in this case) inside and out, then continues to practice and push the art further and further outside the envelope, then the outcomes can appear magic to the layman.

The skills and techniques used in this image are way beyond my understanding.

Here is a true master of the art.

Ray

Mushrooms with fish?
That would spoil the mushrooms!
Leave out the fish!

Great work Valery - we all look forward to your pieces.
Thank you.

I wonder what he did with the round parts of that mushroom?

But the picture is great, I don`t know how he does it,
but it must be hard.

While not yet anywhere near Valery's standard, I would suggest that it is only hard when you don't know how.

A lot of what I do now, at one time I would have only dreamed of doing.

Hard? I don't know, took a lot of effort learning.
Once you have the 'How' then it just takes patience, perseverence and good observation. Hard work? Depends how you define hard work - digging a hole in the ground is hard work, but it ain't difficult

Depends on the soil, but that is a different discussion.
