Default A welcome back to Big Frank

    Big Frank!!!

Welcome back. Did you leave Chelmsford to travel to Gers in your famous VW 'Splity'? Four years is a long time for such a short journey.

(Sorry Mike, highjacking your thread here but we haven't heard from Big Frank in over four years)

    Hi Egg!

I didn't realise it had been four years!!! I have been and lurked occasionally, but I mislaid my login and never had the time to delve back in where once I seem to have had ample. Fun seeing all you old codgers still Xara'ing away on TalkGraphics! I'm still as big a fan of XX as I ever was an although I bought Adobe CS a while ago, I just cannot be bothered with Illusfarter.

Yeah, back in 2003 I sold up all my earthly goods (including the vw camper) and left the depressing coast of England far behind me with nary a backward glance. I'm still doing the same thing, 4 years later, but this time I'm doing it with a view of the Pyrénées from my office window.

It's hell but somebody has to do it.

I miss my camper like hell tbh, but I've found my little corner of paradise now so I have no reason to travel far and wide any more. Perhaps one day I'll get itchy feet again, and currently I hanker after a Harley, so maybe that'll be my next Xara project.

If someone tried to make me dig my own grave I would say No.

Big welcome, indeed, Frank. Are you still doing photorealism in Xara, or have you moved on to other creative endeavors?

    Hi Big Frank!
Welcome back. Did the chickens make the move with you too? I remember your site writing about them in a way that made me think they were pets as much as free-range-egg-poppers.

    Regards, Ross

Still using Xara for work, but haven't had much time for leisure work. Maybe when I'm rich and famous (don't hold your breath)...

The chickens came with us They're not all still around, but they all have their little graves, those that are now in chiclen heaven

Hey all you guys - long time no see
