Lovely drawing masque. The style of a of water colour drawing has been well capturred and everything has a very calm feeling. Real 5* , nice one. It has been a really good week and a bit in the gallery with many fine drawings.

Fantastic job, Derek. You definately caught the feel of watercolours with this technique.

Excellent illustration!

I've come back to this image a number of times now, I really like it. I especially like the vase it seems like there is a million shades of color in it and it comes together so well. Much to learn from this.

Thanks for the comments.
Water colour was an incorrect term to use as I was trying to draw and get a result similar to my favorite medium, coloured pencil. Its nothing like obviously, but the multi colour reflections in the vase goes some way to realising the sort of result you can get with coloured pencil. Some of the flowers are too hard edged as well so I might work on this a bit more to merge the areas of colour together a little and soften it.
Derek
