Question FTP Error, unsure how to fix?

I am trying to publish an update for my website and am receiving this error. I have tried to search the help file and this forum but do not see any information available.

I am not even sure what it means, let alone how to go about fixing it.... any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!!

id recommend trying to force your connection type.

    1. Close the program
    2. Click on windows start, type regedit and press your return key.
    3. From the registry editor, browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Xara\WebDesigner\7.1\Op tions\Publish
    4. You will see a value name on the right named FTPConnectionType. Double click this entry to modify it.
    5. set the value data to 1 and press okay.

Do not alter any other values within your registry.
Attempt to publish. If the problem continues then followed the steps above and change the value data to 0.

    Thanks

Hi there - glad you fixed... just in case, I thought I would add this if it helps another problem reading this post..

I spent an afternoon with ftp errors - wasted hours, then the lightbulb went off and I contacted my hosting company. Needless to say, their servers were down so it wasn't on my end after all.

From now on, before I agonize, I'll check that first - hope it helps someone else!
