I just put the disc in to reinstall it.
Keith may I suggest you install the program as an Admistrator.
When you insert the CD select View rather than let RunCD.exe run.
When you see the files on the disc right click setup.exe and select Run as administrator. After the installation completes to start the program right click on the desktop icon and select Run as administrator, you only need to do this once.

OK it is now installed again. The program opens just like it did last time. Then problem began last time when I checked for an updated version and updated my program. The version I bought from the store is 7.1.1 and there is an update of 7.1.2 or something like that. I am going to try this again.
should I try this?
I just started the download of the update (28 mb). My internet is slow, so this will take a minute.
After I downloaded the update, I installed the 7.1.2 update. Then it told me that the settings I had were based on an older version and may not be correct (as it did the last time). Then it asked if I wanted to keep the current settings or use the default ones. Last time I used the default because it sounded like it was telling me that the current settings may not be correct, but that was when all the problems occurred. So, this time I chose to keep the current settings. Guess what, it seems to work ok so far. Last time it took a few minutes before it started acting up.
Anyways, I hope it continues to work.
