Got to have a rainbow. Rich
From Judi's "Lizbeth at the lake" thread, I was reminded of the requirement that a true depiction of the sun should have "spikes" (because "if the sun does not have spikes i.e. light rays we get very upset" doncha know). So I have done my best to remain true to tradition in my offering below.

There are two kinds of people in the world: those who think there are two kinds of people in the world, and those who don’t.
Maybe not. In WW II (I was just a pup myself) the American GIs would draw a character like yours on the sides of buildings, and any other place they could with the caption Kilroy was here!

I do remember "Kilroy was here", even though I wasn't born until the late fifties. My mother told me that the character in these "Kilroy was here" drawings was named "Doomie"; I guess Kilroy was the legendary artist who supposedly drew Doomie all over the place.

Have a nice Memorial Day and wish for a peaceful year ahead...Joel
