What do you mean,

    <BLOCKQUOTE><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR> I took about 11 minutes 46 seconds! <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

You either did, or you didn't. Can't you be more specific?

I didn't include the fractions of seconds, hence it was appropriate to say "about".

I've been playing with zbrush more since that first effort. It is an amazing program. I'm finding it more interesting than Real-Draw.

    Ross,

I tried to beat you with ZBrush. I played around for the last half hour or so (for Frank: exactly 28:33).

As I have absolutely no talent in painting, all I came up with looked somewhat like "When MIR hit the gummibear factory". So I do not bother posting it.

     You win.

Wolfgang - I have no experience with computer painting either. Painter Classic came with my tablet but brief playing didn't inspire me. With zbrush, I'm surprised how much fun it can be...

Yeah I downloaded Realdraw and it's neat. My initial response was argggh!! palette windows galore! But I'm trying to arrange them in some manner (also the buttons along the right bar open and close these so that helps). So far the program seems awesome (especially for 50$US). I like the ability to move, scale and give perspective to a texture fill on an object which is really nice. The lighting effects are nice too.

As for Zbrush, I saw it listed here

    http://www.creativepro.com/reviews/swproduct

anyway , when I saw a pic of the interface alone I said I must download this program. After going to the site I saw some neat images made with it. Playing with it is interesting but so far I haven't made anything other than blobs :-) (but very attractive blobs) .... just trying to figure out what everything does takes a while.( http://pixologic.com/ )

Mr. King - It was such a hot day in the desert that the tar on the road boiled.

    Regards, Ross

PS - Ya, it would be nice if the next version of Xara had something like the perspective effect for fills. The light feature is really neat - as Wolfgang's post shows so well. I really like the various bevel options too - it would be great if Xara's incorporated more styles.
