Help With That Hand Of Doom!!

Hello everyone,

I've had Xara (and CorelXara) for years and thought I knew what I was doing ... but I've just installed it on a Windows XP machine and all I get is on clicking anything is a hand icon that moves the paper around and I don't know how to switch it off.

I've got a stack of projects waiting and I'm truly going insane - so if anyone knows how to get rid of the hand of doom, I would be incredibly grateful.

Hi Silvia and Welcome,

Somethings amiss here. I suggest you uninstall XaraX and reinstall it. It doesn't take long. See if this cures your problem. Lots of folk here use XP (as I do) with never a problem. Don't forget to install the patch as well.

Ahm ... what patch, exactly ...?

I've never had any patches for Xara, just run it from the Download on my old win98 machine.
