Let's not stir the fire, Gary. If you're unhappy with John's comments, the most effective strategy is to IGNORE him - not poke him in the eye.

Chris Dickman helped me calm a conflict on I/US some time ago, He stated "While we encourgage open discussion direct attacks will not be tolerated" its a simple concept. As moderators we represent this forum. I do my best to be as kind and helpful as I can be, when it becomes evident that an individual is disrupting the forum its up to the moderators to evaluate the disruption and attempt to calm it, sometimes a few nice words will do the job, sometimes not!
