    Default Blocks question

It’s simple as I continue with the many videos. But the question. Move a block on the large variant. Let’s say it has a number on photos on a grid, with small text beside each one.

I do not want some of the pics on the small variant. Does one simply stop sharing from the large variant? Perhaps one only wants one photo from a grid of three.

One could stop sharing from the larger variant - and use separate blocks for the smaller variant without sharing.

    Time to play some more.

    Thx all,
    Bill

Bill, the only hack I have is to make the image (and text) very, very small -1px.
If you set the alignment of the Mobile images to centre then it is effectively hidden.

Thanks Acorn. I’m approaching this excercise as someone who wants to create a website from scratch. If there are 6 images on a larger variant, surely one can make that block non sharing from the onset. Normally blocks will display all those images in a row in the phone view. Thanks for the idea.

This is a simple, and very tidy way of hiding things in a variant, either main or mobile.

Arrange all your images how you want them, then hop into our variant. I'm presuming Flexible Block, but the same idea will apply to Freestyle Blocks.
Expand the Page & Layer Gallery > Mouse Off > Web Block > FlexGroup.
Select the image you don't want to show and click the 'Visible' icon to make it red (hidden). The other images will rush in to fill the gap, but not affect the other variant.

    Chris, thank you.

    Far more sensible.

Thanks Chris. I never thought of this one.
