Missing images

For some reason, the images on my index page are no longer loading. I did not do anything. I updated Xara Pro+ and now my graphics are missing when I upload. They're there on the page, but they don't show up in Preview either. Any idea on how I can fix this?

Tom, check what layer they're on. A visible popup won't show in Preview.

All my photos are on the MouseOff layer where they've always been

Also check the Mouse-Off layer is visible when publishing.

Thanks for your suggestion, Egg. Everything else on the Mouse-Off layer is visible, but the images just suddenly stopped showing up. I've been all kinds of see-if-this-works attempts to understand/fix the problem. Much to my surprise, when I looked at my home page just now, the static images are back. They weren't there the last time I tried. Anyway, I'll take it. HOWEVER, but my very important animated repeating object is still MIA. I can't just sit around and hope it will magically reappear like the static images did.

Tom, the clue is probably in the "animated repeating object".

Things do not show in Preview when they are hidden, on a pop-up layer, have a Reveal controlled by an object that is not there yet and lastly when Placeholder code is crank.

If you have shuffled things around so that they are before the Placeholder then they will show. If after, then the Placeholder mucks up the rest of the HTML for everything following.

The muck-up might not be down to you at all as Xara introduced a preload parameter that did interfere with some of my sites, c.f., https://www.talkgraphics.com/showthr...407#post645407.

Tom, if you can, upload your design file into this Thread.

if not, are you in a position to Export Website to a local folder on your machine and examine the index_htm_files contents for an indication that your repeating object exists?

If you are now using Pro+, can you open your design in an older Magix version and Preview that?
If it showing everything we can assume is is a Pro+ issue and not your design file.
