Photo and Graphic Designer update confusion

About 3 months ago I paid for a year's update service to P&GD V19.
I now see there's a different version 22 listed as a "subscription" and don't understand what is going on. I thought my payment for a year's update service meant that I would be kept up to date with imrovements. What happened to V20 and 21? What am I entitled to now?

V22 is for the Xara Plus version, which is a subscription service. You have Magix's licensed version and v19 is still current. You are up-to-date but Magix only updates about twice a year.
