Default Pouring a picture in hole

How do I have a picture poring down a hole or distorting?

I used the Default Envelope in the Mould Tool (Shift+F6). If that's on the right track, play around until you have the look you're after.

Pic 1 is the Default Envelope icon. Pic 2 the result. Pic 3 the original image.

You could try setting the picture as an art brush and then making it follow a suitable line with a stroke profile to control its width along the line.
That will give more distortion than the old envelope tool.

Yup, the Art Brush is a lot better. I was heading down the 'liquid picture' route.

The linear transparency doesn't work on the art brush though.

Peter - Do you have an example for what you want to accomplish. Your description is rather vague.

Thank you for asking this question, I've had fun discovering new things to amuse me...going to bend and stretch my (adult) kids heads into various objects now, and I can blame Phil for suggesting how.
