Latest update for Pro+ - Cannot drag and drop photos

I seem to have had this problem in previous updates.

I normally drag images from my desktop and drop them onto the page or only other bitmaps.

After the update (and I have already restarted as administrator) this is not working.

Suggestions?

Have the same problem with jpg pix from iphone.

This may be because Apple use their own format, HEIC. Apple usually convert to a universal format automatically. Just copy/moving somewhere does not covert.

I don't use Apple, so I highly advise having a search on the 'Net to see if this applies to your specific need.

When I download photos from my iPhone to my computer, or if I email a photo from my phone to my computer, the photo is converted to JPEG or RAW.

There is a setting in Camera > Formats > Most Compatible and High Efficiency. Select Most Compatible.

Replicated Gary’s problem. This has come up before. Windows 11, Pro plus up to date. Drag photo from a folder from desktop doesn’t work for me.

Bill, in my case the ability came back. It might have something to do with a file that was open at the time of the update. When I started a new document then everything worked again.
