Xara refer to the Magix products as Legacy: https://www.xara.com/uk/products/. These are purchased covered by the Update Service for a yearly renewal (intermittent subscription) but yours to use forever (subject to SNAFUs previously advised).

Xara has just released a bug fix for its Xara Designer Pro v20 Perpetual. Don't blame me for its poor product naming!

The first version of the Perpetual DesignerPro executable is 20.0.0.68181 Nov 23, 2023.
The bug-fix version of the Perpetual DesignerPro executable is 20.0.1.69102 May 3, 2024; as of this Post's date, we have no knowledge of what has changed.

'Perpetual' is a one-off purchase. The 'Plus' products are all subscription.
'Perpetual' by-passes the Online Content Catalogue (OCC) entirely by bundling a largish subset of the OCC for offline use. The OCC in the 'Plus' products is rename (Xara) Elements.

Both are totally detached from Magix.

FWIW I have sent Xara support a support request asking for a change log for the May 3 version of DP20 Perpetual.

The devs have responded to other support requests I have made (regarding an issue with the DP20’s help webpage), so you never know, I might get a response about the DP20 Perpetual change log.

New improvements and better logging have been added to the Designer v20 product installers. They were getting out of date compared to current environments. These have replaced the old installers. There is no need to uninstall and reinstall v20. The new installer does impact the usage of the product.
