I really love what I do for living, ie., graphic design. Sometimes the imaginary line between "work for money" and "work for the soul" got blurred for me, specially the last one overlapping the other http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif. I find inspiration in almost anything, but specially browsing and reading this forum http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

    Thanks for sharing your impressions!

These are two different things. I'm partially agreed with you about splash == website... but these are two different proposals for the customer. One as splash, the second is another but inserted on a website.

Now software is <> than web, so design can be also different, for me, should be such so the user can't get boried and muse can be expanded on a wide canvas as the web is. I believe you can have some level of integrations among these two things, but slightly different so it isn't just a copy and paste job.

At the end, the customer opted for a third proposal which I'll post soon.

...which my customer loved such hard as I hate it http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif But hey, customer's always right, uh? It wasn't made with Xara, it is a Photoshop thing.

You can see the site --which I also don't like too much-- at http://www.vibeuser.com
