I saw a tree trunk with white moss. I performed a mask selection to select all the white areas, and then pasted the selection into a new image. this got the white shapes and left everything else behind. I then expanded the image to have a black background all the way around. I opened the file in Xara X, and did a trace. This gave a lot of white random shapes on a single black background. I removed the background and edited the shapes to eliminate a few large ones. Then made a bitmap copy. I added a background to make the shapes visable. Rich
