When are you going to make your tip of the week link go to the latest tip! And on the Xara Xone put your latest top tip top

Having to mke one extra click with the mouse is such hard work .

(In belgian french language "un crack" is a very qualified person).

Gary I immediately downloaded you cracked textures and tutorial.

And Risto, I was incitated to go to a first (yes, I know this is scandalous) trip inside your web site (because now I have an high speed connexion) and I have sent the link to a lot of my friends. GREAT !!!

    Very friendly yours,

I just loved the cracked porcelin imaging. It's really wonderful, Gary.

And Risto, what can I say? The cat/aquarium image is too good. Would you post the xar for study purposes? Maybe we could start a sort of library where some great xar works of the masters could be put up to be downloaded and studied with notes in the margins ofcourse!

    :-)

    It has already been done.

In the ClipArt Gallery there are two folders, Xara Demonstration Folders I & II. In these folders you will find examples of some very complex images.

I would have preferred some kind of written warning that the images are all copyrighted and to use them only to study and learn from the techniques, but who am I, eh? Unfortunately some less talented people may be tempted to modify the images and try to pass them off as their own creations.

But I digree. The images are there. If you have not loaded the clip art folders, in the Clip Art Gallery, click on Disc Clip Art... then locate the Clip Art folder on the CD. Select the folder and then click Add. This adds all the folders and preview images. The actual images are on the CD itself.

Gary, quite an impressive process for the effect. Don't know how you managed to sort it all and get it written down.

Tony, I don't see how you deciphered the whole mould process. You should be congratulated. I AM going to have to study your tutorial and make sure I have the recipe memorized. Maybe Xara Ltd can extract some nuggets of wisdom from it for developing a better version of the mould tool in the future.

    Regards, John
