in that order. For some reason, and no one else so far thinks this, #3 made me think of sports and trophies. It also made me think of America, don't know if it's an American company but the 'red, white and blue' took me "there". It's elegant, simple and stands out boldly.

The other 2 are really good too. I do agree with John, I think maybe a small bevel on the front of #6, like a darker gold/brass color. How about a gleam or something to "shiny" it up? I guess what I'm saying is I like #6 but it's a bit flat to me. #10 appeals to me too.

I was very happy to see Gary include a link to his "Son of a..." series. I luv those articles and think they are valuable to anyone who ever tries to be graphically creative. They were my introduction to Gary and I treasure the advice they offer. Please do check them out!

is #10---with #12, 6, and 9 also close possibilities. #12 would be great to emphasize the crystal engraved trophies. #10 just looks the most elegant to me...but perhaps they want bold, in that case, I like the others more for that purpose. All are wonderful, though!!!

I would switch the "materials" in design 2 though, so there would be glass text on a gold plate (or then I would skip the glass).

Design 3 is simple and clean. Perhaps I would add the text "awards & engraving" under the logotype (or does it become a logo when you altered the 'O' in "Sports"?).

Design 10 is also simple and clean. This design I like the most.

Gary - you said you like design 12 best. In colour it does look great, but will it look good in black&white as well? Isn't there a risk that the glass look will disappear!

All the designs are very good and different to each other, but number 10 gets my vote

Not 100% sold but leaning in that direction. This is design #3 with the type reorganized a tiny bit and with a redesigned medal.

My client really appreciated all your comments.
