Thanks. I used a Nikon D100 digital SLR, bought it two weeks ago. It´s a very nice camera, and I can use my 25 years old manual lenses too. The results are very good.
I have just finished a 16 pages booklet/product catalogue with a lot of photos. I used Xara to create all the pages and exported as 300 dpi TIFFS - then Photoshop to convert to CMYK and Freehand MX to set the pages in order and write the text - then exporting to PDF. The result is excellent - and Xara X is the main tool.
Here is the front page - all created in XaraX. I have used the fill tool under the upper logo and lowest the transparency tool to combine the three photos from a primeval forest.
